Mindy and Rick photographed both our engagement photos and wedding, they truly are professionals. They captured our full wedding day, captured everyone’s personalities so well and captured all our small details beautifully. Every photo is amazing, when we go through them each time we find a new favorite one. Mindy and Rick’s style of photos compliment each other so well. Each photo are beautifully captured and edited.
Mindy also helped with the scheduling of the wedding day, and helped keep everything on track/flow. Mindy and Rick made us feel so comfortable, we knew we were in good hands, they had us laughing and they helped keep the wedding jitters at bay.

I have been visiting Nova Scotia from the US every year since I was born. It is the most special place in the world to me and my family. When I started having kids of my own, I wanted to capture our family here so I could have a memory bank of my little ones experiencing it for the first few times. I am so lucky that I stumbled upon Mindy to do that - she not only captured our family so well but she captured the beauty and wonder of our special place with skill and artistry.
Mindy is direct and honest - she will cater to your needs while also being upfront about what will work and what won’t work as well. She will brush aside that fly-away or advise you on the best colors to wear (or even race from one spot to another to catch the best sun!) because she truly knows what’s best and is amazing at what she does.
She is professional and courteous about scheduling and about when your photos will be available - Ours have always come back quickly but not rushed.

Mindy and Rick were so amazing and so fun to work with!! When we met for our engagement shoot they made us feel so relaxed and we had so much fun. From the first moment we reached out, we received such an enthusiastic response. Mindy and Rick are both extremely responsive, professional, warm and comforting individuals, and hilarious. We received sneak peaks within 48 hours of our wedding after they just had two weddings that weekend. Mindy was able to be quick with family portraits while allowing us to have our special moments and enjoy the day without so much stress of getting the right shot. The value for what they bring to the table is out of this world, and they offer both earthy and moody editing (which we opted for) but also light and airy in which Mindy did edit a few photos of us for.

“My husband, daughter and I were very lucky to be selected for a “Life style” photo shoot with Mindy. It just so happened that my daughter’s 1st birthday was coming up. So we planned to have Mindy come the day of her actual birthday. We were so excited and nervous; this style of photography is not a posed shoot. This style meant Mindy came and just started snapping photos of our day. When Mindy arrived I expressed my anxiety, right away Mindy was so kind to listen and offer advice and explain how she would take the photos and if things looked out of order or things needed to be moved she would let us know or kindly move them. Mindy was a complete joy to have in our home, She was so reassuring within 5 minutes my worry and anxiety were gone. We started to go about our day as Mindy took pictures (it was like we invited a long time friend over for coffee that brought a camera). Mindy was in our home for just over 2 hours. The time flew by, I was even more excited when she was leaving (NOT for her to go ) but for her to get home and maybe she would kindly send me a seek peek or two. I went about my day, I held my phone close in case I got an email from Mindy. Oh Boy!! When I received that email an opened it to see that picture Mindy had told us she had dream about. My Jaw hit the floor, tears in my eyes it was AMAZING! My beautiful daughter sitting on the floor, next to her dad’s wheel while reading a book. (Check out the photo) It was a vision, so simple, so effortless, but my world. My heart smiled and with each picture she posted after that it smiled bigger and bigger.
I cannot thank Mindy enough for capturing these amazing photo’s and the memories will live on forever. Mindy you are very talented at what you do, you have a gentle ease about you. You made my family so comfortable and you captured some amazing shots.
